BIDAR: The Government has sanctioned Rs. 50,000 as compensation to the family of a farmer who had died after lightning struck him in Yarandi in Basava Kalyan taluk. Deputy Commissioner Munish Moudgil released the amount to Anita, wife of Lakshman Ghaleppa, a release said.
