ANANTAPUR: State secretary of Bharatiya Janata Party N.V.S.S. Prabhakar alleged that the State Government had completely failed in providing relief to the flood-hit people in eight districts. Talking to newspersons here on Tuesday he said more than three lakh people were displaced and rendered homeless but relief had not reached them so far. Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy had not announced any relief so far and the response from the Centre for assistance sought by him was also cold. He urged the Dr. Reddy to build pressure on the Centre to extend as much assistance as possible.
