MANGALORE: Some people under the banner of Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI), Akhila Bharata Janawadi Mahila Sanghatane and Yuvaka Mandala, Jeppinamogaru, held a demonstration in front of the Kadri police station here on Tuesday. They urged police to arrest the accused in an alleged murder of Vidyarani, a young woman, recently. Addressing the gathering Dinesh Shetty, president, Jeppinamogaru unit of DYFI said Vidyarani was found dead at a rented house at Kadri on July 7. She was working in a private firm in the city. Even after four weeks of the alleged murder police failed to make the arrest. Police should take up this case on priority and arrest the accused, he said.
