Editor of magazine arrested

Bangalore: The Banashankari Police have arrested the honorary editor of "Jyotishya Taranga", a monthly magazine, under the provisions of Abolition of Untouchability Act. According to the police, Gunjur Prakasha Shastry had reportedly published an offending write-up in the July issue of the magazine. The Magadi police have taken up a similar case on a complaint filed by the State president of Madiga Dandora Horata Samiti Shankarappa.
