Aurobindo Pharma gets MHRA authorisation

HYDERABAD: Aurobindo Pharma, a generics manufacturing company, has received marketing authorisation approval from the U.K.'s Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) for Mirtazapine 15mg, 30mg and 45mg tablets. Mirtazapine is a new anti-depressant that exhibits noradrenergic and serotonergic activity. This is the second formulation approval the company had received from MHRA for a product developed in-house.
