Cholayil launches Medimix sandal

HYDERABAD: Cholayil Private Ltd, the Chennai-based Rs. 160-crore fast moving consumer goods company manufacturing Medimix soaps, is chalking out major investment plans to foray into other skincare and personal care segments. Announcing the launch of a Medimix sandal variant here on Wednesday, M. C. Anand Kumar, Senior Vice-President (Sales and Marketing) of Dorcas Market Makers Ltd., the marketing arm of Cholayil, said the company planned to exploit its Cuticura brand for the personal care segment.Mr. Kumar said the company was now setting up a unit at Uttaranchal for soap manufacturing.
