Funds sanctioned for tool design institute building

VIJAYAWADA: The Central Government has sanctioned funds for construction of the first floor on the existing building of the sub-centre of Central Institute of Tool Design (CITD).

According to a press note from the CITD, tool designing, manufacturing, LCA, Robotic and VLSI embedded courses will be imparted shortly.

Vijayawada centre was inaugurated in 2004 in its own building in Autonagar industrial area to impart training on CAD/CAM/CNC programmes to the local technical personnel in these fields in various levels of ITI, diploma and engineering degree and Masters degree along with uneducated industrialists, with vast experience in the field of engineering. CITD is guiding project works for diploma and engineering students in mechatrnoic engineering Robotic engineering, CA/CAM/CAE, according to CITD director P. Nageswara Rao.
