KADAPA: Raksha Bandhan festival promotes brotherhood and camaraderie in society, Superintendent of Police Y. Nagi Reddy said on Wednesday. Participating in festivities in N. Pushpagiri Residential Public School here, he lauded the school management for encouraging students to participate in such festivals. Joint Collector Kanthilal Dande asked teachers to imbibe the spirit of brotherhood among students. Promotion of moral values and good qualities like courtesy and respect for elders was imperative, he said. The school students later tied rachis to people at important junctions and religious places in Kadapa. Meanwhile, Brahmakumaris led by B.K.
