Mangalore student wins `Creating Life Story' contest

Nihal Kumar wins a trip to Australia with his parents

  • Over 90,000 children from 14 cities participated in the contest
  • Contestants had to write a `super adventure' they had with a parent

    MANGALORE: Nihal Kumar, a sixth standard student of Canara School, Dongerkery, has won the "Creating Life Story" contest organised by ING Vysya Life Insurance in collaboration with Cartoon Network.

    The contest took place between November 2005 and May 2006.

    Over 90,000 children from 14 cities across the country participated in it, T.K. Uthappa, vice-president and head, sales-tied agency, ING Vysya Life Insurance, told presspersons here on Wednesday.

    Nihal won a trip to Australia for himself and his parents. The two runners-up have been awarded gift coupons.
