Permission denial condemned

CHENNAI: Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam leader Vaiko has condemned the denial of permission for the World Tamils Federation conference, proposed to be held at Salem on August 12 and 13.

Mr. Vaiko said police had denied permission for the meet only on Chief Minister's orders.
