Fire in Income Tax office

CHENNAI: A fire broke out in the Income Tax department office on the Nungambakkam High Road on Wednesday. Fire personnel said that on information, three fire-fighting vehicles from Teynampet and Egmore were pressed into service.

The fire was put out within 30 minutes. The exact cause was not known. Nungambakkam police are investigating.
