SNDP Union to distribute Rs.1.5 crores

KOCHI: The Kanayannoor SNDP Union will distribute Rs.1.5 crores in the second phase of the micro finance scheme.

The union also plans to provide 100 autorickshaws and poultry to various beneficiaries at a function to be held at Ernakulathappan ground on August 12 at 12.30 p.m. Pension benefits will also be distributed at the meeting.

The union will also felicitate P.C. Thomas, MP, who took up the case of the release of Sree Narayana Guru coins with the Union Government, union leaders T.K. Padmanabhan, L. Sivanandan and P.P. Rajan told presspersons here on Wednesday.

The meeting will felicitate the Travancore Devaswom Board members who introduced 33 per cent reservation in the appointments in the board.
