Coimbatore: The Coimbatore Rural Police on Wednesday foiled an attempt to hijack a car. A person hired a car for going to Pollachi and after assaulting the driver and pushing him out of the vehicle drove it away. However on being alerted, the police intercepted the car on Pollachi Road and the person who was driving the car was arrested.
