Woman stabbed

Thiruvananthapuram: A 20-year-old young woman was rushed to Medical College Hospital (MCH) on Wednesday evening with severe stab injuries in her head and back.

A chisel-like sharp blade was lodged deep in her back when she was brought in.

According to the MCH sources, the woman, identified as Deepthi of Kadakkavoor, was assaulted by someone who broke into her house.

Emergency surgery was performed on Deepthi to remove the blade lodged in her back.
