Ask any unemployed youth, do you want a job? And the immediate answer will be a big `yes.' Even employed youngsters will be interested to go deep into the question and know whether there is a better offer. Interestingly, a few drop boxes placed in some key locations in and around the city ask a similar question and request the interested persons to drop in their resume. The boxes have been placed by a Coimbatore-based online job portal, www. velai4u.com.
The portal's Project Manager, K. Usha, says that the unique concept has been formulated to make things easier for job seekers. The portal caters to all kinds of industries.
Resumes collected through the boxes are hosted in the website. If the bio-data impresses the employer, the prospective youngsters will end up getting a job.
