CHENNAI: Rainfall occurred at most places over coastal Karnataka and Kerala and at a few places over coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, interior Karnataka and Lakshadweep. Isolated rainfall occurred over Tamil Nadu and Rayalaseema.

Kollur (Udupi dt.) recorded a heavy rainfall of 8 cms.

Forecast valid until Saturday morning: Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at many places over coastal Karnataka and Kerala and at a few places over coastal Andhra Pradesh, interior Karnataka and Lakshadweep. Isolated rain or thundershowers are likely to occur over Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Telangana and Rayalaseema.
