dated August 11, 1956: The National Anthem

The standard orchestral version of the Indian National Anthem approved by the Government and processed by All India Radio is proposed to be released for commercial processing and distribution, Dr. B.V. Keskar, Minister for Information and Broadcasting, told the Lok Sabha on August 9. The question of distributing it at a moderate price to schools, colleges and other public and private institutions would be considered.
