Guntur
Staff Reporter
GUNTUR: Tally, one of the popular accounting software, is now available in Telugu along with 10 other Indian languages. It has been introduced in the Tally Academy, the training wing of the company. The Guntur branch on Thursday launched the programme on its premises at 4/7, Brodipet, and its director M.P. Eswara Rao, told reporters that the academy had trained 250 candidates so far in English. Out of the 250 candidates, 60 were placed in several companies Statewide. "We receive several requisitions from local industrial and business establishments for supply of skilled personnel in the accounting software offering good beginning," he said. The academy aims at providing employment to all trainees, but a majority of them come from among working accountants or assistants to upgrade their skills. The trend among students was also changing and many of commerce and arts graduates were coming forward to undergo the 60-day training programme that comprises 60 hours of theoretical classes and 60 hours of on-the-machine practical training. The fee charged by the company includes the cost of Tally Academy-designed course material and kit and trainees were guaranteed to recover the cost of their training in the first month of their employment, he observed.
