Three-day `Aradhana Mahotsavam' begins

MAHABUBNAGAR: The three-day `Aradhana Mahotsavam' of Mantralaya Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt was marked with fervour and devotion, here on Thursday.

As part of the 335th `Aradhana Mahostava', the Muttchalked out a programme for the celebrations.

According to temple authorities, special poojas and sevas will be performed on all the three days.

Devotees in large number on Wednesday assembled at the temple since early morning to participate in `Nirmalaya visarjana', followed by `Prahaladaraja pada pooja', `Panchamrutha', `Tulsi archana', `Neivadya', `Hastodaka' and other rituals.

The authorities said that among other sevas - `Nirmalaya visarjana', `Prahaladaraja pada pooja' and `Panchamrutha' will be performed on all three days.

The celebration will conclude on the afternoon of August 12.
