`Transfer' to be probed

DEHRA DUN: A probe has been ordered into the inter-district transfers of 30 teachers through forged documents.

The matter came to light when many teachers approached the Education Director seeking transfers on the lines of those who had been posted out a few months ago. Surprised by the revelation, the director sought for the transfer orders which turned out to be fakes. "Thirty teachers were relieved from their schools on the basis of forged documents. This is a serious matter and all of them have been asked to report back to their original place of posting'', a senior official said.
