Witnesses examined

BELLARY: Three witnesses were examined in the court of Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) (Junior division) here on Thursday in connection with the case of defamation filed by G. Janardhan Reddy, suspended BJP MLC, against the Chief Minister, Home Minister and the Minister for Forests for their alleged remarks against him after he levelled the Rs. 150-crore bribery charge against them. Rudragowda, Chairman of the Bellary Zilla Panchayat Standing Committee on Health and Education; Guttiganur Virupaksha Gowda and Vaddatti Karibasappa, party leaders in the district; were the witnesses.

U. Chandrashekar, JMFC, posted the case for arguments on August 12.
