International meet on law

A two-day "International Conference on Access to Justice: Law, Policy and Institutions," organised by the Yale Law School in the United States, in collaboration with the Legal Education and Research Society begins, here on Friday.
Union Law Minister H.R. Bhardwaj will inaugurate it. National Human Rights Commission Chairperson Justice A.S. Anand and Deputy Regional Manager/Head of Policy and Programmes, UNDP Regional Centre, Bangkok, Ms. Marcia V.J. Kran, will deliver a lecture.
According to Prof. C. Rajkumar of the School of Law, City University of Hong Kong and Chief Executive Officer of LEARS, the sessions will include presentations and discussions on the theoretical foundations of access to justice, formal and informal dispute resolution systems, independence of judiciary and judicial reforms, public interest litigation, corruption and the present and future of legal education.
