Special trains introduced

To clear the extra rush of passengers

CHENNAI: The following special trains will run between Chennai and Nagercoil stations in order to clear the extra rush of passengers:

Nagercoil - Chennai Egmore - Nagercoil Specials: Train No. 0614 Nagercoil - Chennai Egmore Special will leave Nagercoil at 19.40 hrs on August 11 and arrive at Chennai Egmore at 08.50 hrs the next day; Train No. 0613 Chennai Egmore - Nagercoil Special will leave Chennai Egmore at 20.00 hrs on August 12 and arrive at Nagercoil at 10.00 hrs the next day. The trains will stop at Tirunelveli, Sattur, Virudunagar, Madurai, Dindigul, Tiruchchirappalli, Villupuram and Chengalpattu.

T.No. 0613 will stop at Tambaram, Tindivanam, Vriddhachalam, Kodaikanal Road, Kovilpatti and Vanchi Maniyachchi also.

Nagercoil - Chennai Egmore - Nagercoil Specials: Train No. 0614 Nagercoil - Chennai Egmore Special will leave Nagercoil at 19.40 hrs on August 13 and arrive at Chennai Egmore at 08.50 hrs the next day. Train No. 0615 Chennai Egmore - Nagercoil Special will leave Chennai Egmore at 19.00 hrs on August 14 and arrive Nagercoil at 08.10 hrs the next day. The trains will stop at Tirunelveli, Sattur, Virudunagar, Madurai, Dindigul, Tiruchchirappalli, Villupuram and Chengalpattu.

Nagercoil - Chennai Egmore - Nagercoil Specials: Train No. 0604 Nagercoil - Chennai Egmore Special will leave Nagercoil at 13.30 hrs on August 17 and arrive Chennai Egmore at 04.30 hrs the next day.

Train No. 0613 Chennai Egmore - Nagercoil Special will leave Chennai Egmore at 20.00 hrs on August 18 and arrive Nagercoil at 10.00 hrs the next day. The trains will stop at Tirunelveli, Vanchi Maniyachchi, Kovilpatti, Sattur, Virudunagar, Madurai, Kodaikanal Road, Dindigul, Tiruchchirappalli, Vriddhachalam, Villupuram, Tindivanam, Chengalpattu and Tambaram. T. No. 0604 will stop at Mambalam also.

Advance reservation for the above trains will commence on August 11, according to a Southern Railway release.
