He also instructed officials to shift electric poles on widened roads to ease traffic congestion. The Commissioner directed the Town Planning officials to complete the dismantling of acquired structures on the stretch within a week and to speed up acquisition of properties between Punjagutta circle and NFCL junction so that the contractor can start work within two weeks. Mr. Jaju also instructed the Additional Commissioner (Works) to complete the patchwork and lay renewal coat immediately to ease traffic congestion at Punjagutta on a top priority basis. The Commissioner later visited Road No.36 in Jubilee Hills and directed the official concerned to clear all the water stagnation points, potholes and to improve the junction within a week, according to a press release.
