SBT seminar on tourism
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:
Over one hundred entrepreneurs attended a one-day seminar on eco-tourism organised by State Bank of Travancore at Marayur in Idukki district, the bank said in a press release. The seminar highlighted the concept of `home stay tourism' to take the financial benefits of tourism directly to the local people. The presidents of the grama panchayats of Marayur and Kanthallur, representatives of the trading community and forest officials led the discussions, the release added. The bank's General Manager for Planning and Development R. G. Gadkari inaugurated the seminar.
