Walk-in interview

BANGALORE: The Directorate of Technical Education is conducting a walk-in interview to select engineering graduates and diploma holders for one-year apprenticeship course from August 17 at the Ambedkar Institute of Technology here.

An official release said the interview was being held in association with the Director, Board of Apprenticeship Training, Chennai. Only Karnataka candidates who have passed on or after 2003 August are eligible to attend the interview. They should produce original SSLC marks card, BE or diploma certificates at the time of interview. While BE graduates would be paid a stipend of Rs. 1,970 a month, diploma holders would be paid Rs. 1,400 stipend during the one-year training period.
