New Delhi: Indian grapplers won five medals, including two gold, at the end of the third day of the sixth Asian cadet wrestling championships in Bangkok. Narender Kumar and Apoorva Tyagi, competing in 50kg boys' freestyle and 40kg girls' freestyle respectively, clinched the gold for India. Narender got the better of Mokhtari Hashem of Iran in the final, while Apoorva defeated Miori Suzuki of Japan. Kaushalya Wang bagged the silver in girls' 46kg freestyle category, while Priyanka Singh finished second in 43kg section. Kavita won the only bronze for India in the 38kg freestyle category. PTI
