Rains lash Orissa

BHUBANESWAR: Normal life was thrown out of gear in most parts of Orissa on Saturday as torrential rains continued to lash most parts of the State under the influence of a depression over the North Bay of Bengal. The rains that started on Friday afternoon continued till Saturday evening with the coastal districts experiencing heavy rains. The low-lying areas of Cuttack, Puri and Bhubaneswar were inundated causing difficulties for the people.
