KOTTAYAM: M. Savithri Amma, wife of P.K. Narayana Panicker, general secretary of the Nair Service Society (NSS), died at her house at Vazahppally on Saturday morning. She was 71. Savithri Amma had been keeping ill for the past few months. She was cremated at Lakshmi Vilasom Bangalow campus. Savithri Amma retired as headmistress from the State Education Department. She is survived by her husband and three sons, P.N. Satheesh Kumar, P.N. Jagdeesh Kumar and P.N. Ranjith Kumar.
Death condoled
Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan has condoled the demise of Savithri Amma.
