Power shutdown

Pondicherry: There will be no power supply for five and half hours from 10 a.m. on Monday in Mudaliarpet, the ECR segment (eastern side of the Road Transport Office), JVS. Nagar, parts of Kombakkam and Boomianpet. A release from the Department of Electricity said here on Saturday that the power shutdown was necessary in view of the construction works scheduled to be taken up on the HT feeder lines emanating from Marapalam sub-station.
