Mysore Zone takes honours

Bangalore: Mysore Zone emerged champion in the S.A. Srinivasan memorial under-22 cricket tournament by virtue of its 27-run first innings lead over President's XI.

The final concluded in a draw at the RSI Ground here on Saturday.

S. Vinodh's unbeaten 92 (226b, 9x4, 1x6) went in vain for President's.

The scores:

Mysore 247 in 71 overs and 128 for eight in 47.4 overs drew with President's XI 220 in 75.2 overs (S. Vinodh 92 not out, M.R. Darshan five for 75). (Mysore won on first innings lead).
