KOLLAM: Minister for Health P.K. Sreemathy will inaugurate a symposium on supportive therapy for cancer patients here on Sunday. The symposium is being organised by the Regional Cancer Centre (RCC), Thiruvananthapuram in association with the Kollam and Kollam West branches of the Indian Medical Association. Labour Minister P.K. Gurudasan will preside. The organising committee of the symposium stated that cancer cure could be achieved only with excellent supportive care and intensive cancer specific therapies.
