Talks on to admit Iranian student

KOCHI: Iran will consider admitting its students into various programmes offered by the Cochin University of Science and Technology (Cusat) from next year. Mohammed Kafi, council director of the Iranian embassy in India, mooted this proposal during his meeting with authorities of the university on Friday.

Dr. Kafi said students in Iran were interested in pursuing courses in marine biology, oceanography, industrial fisheries, photonics, economics and management.
