Bannerghatta park open on Tuesday

The Bannerghatta Biological Park will be open on August 15, a press release from the Zoo Authority of India said.

Free yoga classes

Free veterinary camp

Applications invited

The Department of Architecture, Bangalore University, has invited applications from professionally eligible candidates for guest faculty on consolidated pay of Rs. 250 per hour. Candidates with BE (Arch.), ME or a degree in fine arts may apply by August 17. For details, call 22961811.

Last date extended

The last date for submitting applications to postgraduate courses at Bangalore University and affiliated colleges has been extended to August 18.

Applications can also be submitted by paying a fine of Rs. 50 up to August 21.

Guest lecturers

Bangalore University has invited applications from eligible candidates for the newly started `Rural Development and Management' postgraduation course for the academic year 2005-06.

Candidates with NET and Ph.D. degrees can apply. Interested candidates may apply with two sets of their biodata to the director, Centre for Rural Development Studies, Bangalore University, within 15 days.
