`Sachin free from injury concerns'

Special Correspondent

Chennai: Indian physio John Gloster reiterated that Sachin Tendulkar was now free from injury concerns. Tendulkar bowled during the Indian training session in the afternoon at the Police ground.

``Sachin has been bowling without any discomfort. And he is enjoying his cricket,'' said Gloster.

There have been speculations about the state of Tendulkar's right shoulder following surgery and doubts have been expressed about his ability to throw in from the deep. Gloster said, ``I have repeatedly said that he is fit and he is feeling good. It is for the captain and the coach to decide where he should field.''

Meanwhile, Ajit Agarkar, India's only impressive paceman during the ODI series in West Indies this year, said he had not brought about too many changes in his basic bowling technique — ``I concentrated on my line and length.''

Agarkar sounds confident

He expressed confidence that India could bounce back from the 4-1 debacle in the Caribbean. ``I think we can turn it around,'' he said.

Agarkar, who was left out of the Test series in West Indies, said he had to take the setback in his stride and stay focussed as a professional cricketer would.

He felt the practice match on Saturday and the training session on Sunday — India's second warm-up game had to be cancelled in the morning due to inclement weather — had enabled the side get a feel of the conditions.
