DEHRA DUN: The Chinese Government has invited Manorma Sharma Dobriyal, Mayor of Dehra Dun and president of the All India Council of Mayors, to participate in a two-day international symposium on Development of Small and Medium Sized Cities to be held at Tai'an City in Shandong from September 23. Announcing this here over the weekend, Ms Dobriyal said that the symposium would give her the opportunity to learn new concepts of town planning and developing entrepreneurial opportunities that could help in checking the migration of youth to bigger cities. The symposium is being organised by the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and will be attended by about 200 mayors, business experts and scholars, it was stated.
