Gwalior: Congress MP Jyotiraditya Scindia on Sunday said the party was united over the points raised regarding former External Affairs Minister Natwar Singh's role in the Iraq oil-for-food scam in the Pathak authority report. ``There is no difference within the Congress over the issue,'' he told reporters here. Regarding Mr Singh's comment about Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Mr Scindia said India was fortunate to have an economist Prime Minister under whose leadership the country would emerge as an economic superpower. Calling upon political parties to come together against terrorism, he said everybody must rise over politics for the country's welfare. On appointment of rest of the office-bearers and district presidents of the party's State unit, the Congress leader said discussion had been held with senior leaders, including Oscar Fernandes. The announcement would be made within 15-20 days. He refused to comment upon Madhya Pradesh Assembly Speaker Ishwardas Rohani's verdict rejecting a Congress petition seeking action against Rashtriya Samanta Dal MLA Harivallabh Shukla under anti-defection law. However, if the Congress decided to move the court over the issue, he would welcome the decision. UNI
