KOCHI: Malayala Manorama is venturing into the television media. The news channel, Manorama News, will be on air from August 17. A note from the Chief Editor, K.M. Mathew, says that Manorama News will be the first Malayalam news channel with state-of-the-art news gathering and telecast systems once considered a monopoly of frontline foreign media.
Synergy
"The quality of leading world-class television channels would reflect in Manorama News also. It is using electronic news production system [ENPS] for news gathering and newscast. Only a few channels use this ultra-modern technology in India. Another technological advancement, Beehive Live Graphics, will ensure further synergy to Manorama News."
