DEMOCRATIC TRADIITON: `School parliament' in session at Stella Maris School.
BANGALORE: Stella Maris High School, Gayathridevi Park Extension, held its first "school parliament" session recently. Sr. Therese Marie, president of the house, inaugurated the session. All the members of "school parliament" took oath to serve the institution honestly. In her address, the president said that the first session held out new chances and new hopes to all members. She reminded the members to earn respect by taking sound decisions, admitting their mistakes and putting what was best for their fellow students and the institution. School pupil leader and "prime minister" Arlene Margret Vaz with her cabinet, supported the president's speech. Opposition leader Divya Ramesh along with her party members assured support for the smooth running of administration. Poornima J., who was elected "speaker".
