HYDERABAD: Following traffic arrangements were made for the Independence Day celebrations being held at Secunderabad Parade Grounds on Tuesday. Those coming in vehicles having VIP, AA, A1, A2, B1 and B2 car passes from Begumpet side should proceed via Rasoolpura junction, flyover, CTO, a press release said. Those coming in vehicles with VIP, AA, AI, A2, B1 and B2 car passes from upper Tankbund and Ranigunj side must proceed via MG Road or Parklane. They will pass through Central Telegraph island/Plaza junction to the Parade Ground side of Sardar Patel road. After the invitees alight, the cars with AA, AI and A2 passes will park in front of MCH office and those with B1 and B2 passes will proceed up to S.B.H. junction, turn left and park in the compound of the office of the Chief Engineer Project Ordnance Factory. Invitees coming from Cantonment side with VIP, AA, AI, A2, B1 and B2 passes will proceed towards the SP Road. Invitees with car passes A3 to A7 coming from M.G. Road, Begumpet and Secunderabad Cantonment side will alight at Gymkhana Grounds. Invitees with car pass B3, B4 and B5 shall come via R.P. Road, proceed to S.B.H. junction, turn right and get into the compound of the office of the Chief Engineer Ordinance Factory to park vehicles. Cars with VIP, A1 to A7, B1 and B2 passes coming from Secunderabad Clock Tower will come via Sarojini Devi Road and turn at Montgomery traffic island. Cars with B3 to B5 passes coming from Bollarum side can proceed via Secunderabad Club, Cantonment Garden road up to YMCA junction, turn right and enter the parking lot opposite MCH office. Cars without passes will come via R.P. Road, take right turn at S.B.H. junction, proceed to Y.M.C.A. junction and park the vehicles on the road in front of the Judicial Academy in a single row. Duty officers will park their vehicles in Raja Deen Dayal lane. Parking for two wheelers is at Gymkhana Grounds and on either side of S.P. Road in front of St. Ann's school. The entry to S.P. Road between Central Telegraph Crossroads and YMCA crossroads will be `one-way' between 7 a.m. and 10.30 a.m. Cars having passes will be allowed from CTO junction towards YMCA before the parade commences and in the reverse direction towards CTO junction when the parade is over.
Post-function
After the function, VIP, AA, A1, A2, B1 and B2 cars will leave through the S.P. Road towards Plaza Junction/Telegraph Island. Cars with A3 to A7 passes parked at Gymkhana Grounds will leave by Parklane, Telegraph island junction or towards Tivoli. Cars with B3, B4 and B5 parked in the office of the Chief Engineer Ordnance Factory opposite to M.C.H. Secunderabad will leave via Cantonment Road from Y.M.C.A. side.
Ministers' cars
Only the cars of Ministers and Judges will be parked by the side of the iron barricades on SP Road, about 100 yards away from alighting point. Invitees coming after 8.50 a.m. with car passes AA, A1, A2, B1 and B2 from Hyderabad side/Begumpet and Punjagutta, coming from CTO flyover will take detour in front of Chillah/Dargah (near Plaza junction) and go on to the southern side of the fly- over and proceed to the swimming pool side, alight and walk by the slip road in front of the VIP alighting point.
