Union Bank hikes PLR

MUMBAI: Union Bank of India has hiked its benchmark prime lending rate by 25 basis points from 11.25 per cent to 11.50 per cent. Its home lending rates too have been raised by 25 basis points while interest rates on deposits have been left untouched. The decision to effect a hike in its PLR was taken at the bank's board meeting held here on Saturday. The revised PLR has come into effect from the same day.
