JIPMER nursing degree admissions

Pondicherry: K.S. Reddy, Dean, JIPMER (Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research) in Pondicherry said in a release here on Monday that the counselling of students for admission to the B.Sc Nursing and Medical Lab Technology (MLT) courses would be held on August 30 for admissions on August 31. The classes commence in September. Entrance examination for admission to the B.Sc Nursing course and the MLT branch of studies during 2006-2007 academic year was held on August 13 in Pondicherry. Out of the 768 candidates expected to write the entrance examination, 547 candidates appeared. Mr. Reddy said that detailed marks are available on the website, www.jipmer.edu, and they are also displayed on the notice board.
