`No offer for bilateral series'

CHENNAI: BCCI Secretary Niranjan Shah said here on Tuesday that the Board had not received an offer to play a bilateral one-day series with Sri Lanka should South Africa pull out of the Unitech tri-series.

When asked specifically if South Africa's possible pullout would lead to a bilateral series, Shah said, "the CEO of the Sri Lankan Board has not spoken about that.

"That's a matter between South Africa and Sri Lanka. The tri-series is on, we are not calling back our players." — Special Correspondent
