NEW DELHI: Fifteen Sanskrit and three scholars each in Arabic and Persian have been selected by the Government for the award of certificate of honour. Prem Suman Jain has been short listed for this award in the category reserved for Pali/Prakrit. The Sanskrit scholars are: Thangirala Bala Gangadhar Sarma, Acharya Munishwar Jha, Usha Choudhari, Vasant Giridharlal Parikh, Mathura Datt Pandey, Ganga Datt Shastri, Sheshachala Sarma, Kamlesh Datta Tripathi, S. Krishnamurthy Sastry, Jagdamba Prasad Sinha, Parasnath Dwivedi, Shivji Upadhayaya, Mansa Ram Sharma, Debabrata Sen Sharma and Dileep Kumar Kanjilal. The Arabic scholars are: Abubakr Mohammad Al-Hashmi, Abdul Aleem Khan and Abdul Ali. The Persian scholars are: Nargis Jahan, Mahmood Alam and Abdus Subhan.
