TIRUPATI: Saudagar Muhammad Khaleel, an Inspector - Vigilance and Anti-Power Theft Squad in Andhra Pradesh Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (APSPDCL), Tirupati, has been selected for the prestigious President's Police Medal 2006. Mr. Khaleel, who is on deputation at the Discom, had acted tough on power pilferers, booking many cases during his four-year stint here. He is already a recipient of Indian Police Medal (1998), AP Police Seva Pathakam (1989) and AP Uttama Seva Pathakam (1996).
