Telugu litterateur dead

HYDERABAD: Eminent litterateur and former Vice-Chancellor of Potti Sriramulu Telugu University G.S. Subramanyam (70) died at a corporate hospital on Tuesday following a brief illness. He is survived by wife, two daughters and two sons.

Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy while condoling the death lauded the critic for penning over 40 books. He said Mr. Subramanyam had contributed significantly in giving a boost to Telugu literature during his stewardship of the university.
