Staff Reporter

Three gifts on every purchase

KOCHI: Videocon has announced `Onamahotsavam Hat trick offer' for Kerala. It offers three assured gifts for consumers on every purchase.

On purchase of any Videocon product, the consumer will get a scratch card with three scratch options.

The gifts include Apple Ipods, World Space Radio with free activation for 3 months, gold coins, pearl sets, holiday trips to destinations in India and abroad, travel bags, wrist watches etc.

Vice president (sales and marketing) Shekhar Jyoti announced the schemes at a press conference on Sunday.

The seven in one DTH DVD and the 340-litre frost-free range refrigerator were also unveiled.

The seven in one DTH DVD model is the combination of a set-top box and a 5.1 channel DVD player with multi-format playability.

With the help of a small receiver dish and an LNB assembly, the set top box ensures reception of free-to-air signals, multiple TV and radio channels through a single player.

Videocon DVD comes with the technology of decoding extra data stored so that the consumer can use MPEG4 disc, which has the capability of carrying extra video and audio files.

It also has the additional 5.1 Dolby Digital, AC-3 decoder, superior error correction, progressive scan features and digital games, the communication said.

The 340 litre-frost-free range refrigerator comes with the unique circumflow technology that ensure 360 degree cooling and the Sensi Flow System that senses and helps to maintain the required temperature inside the compartment, the company officials said.

The special CR additive in the refrigerator makes it rust-free for many years and the anti-bacterial metal Ion prevents the growth of germs, the communication said.
