EAMCET qualifying marks reduced
The State Government has reduced the qualifying marks of EAMCET from 48 to 40. A Government Order to this effect has been issued.
According to M.D. Christopher, secretary, Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education, the qualifying marks have been reduced from 30 per cent to 25 per cent. The total mark of the EAMCET is 160. - Staff Reporter
Police, Fire Services medals
Rajendra Babu, head constable, National Industrial Security Academy, and Santosh Kumar, and Arjun Singh, head constables, Fire Services Training Institute, have been awarded the Police and Fire Services Medals for meritorious services.
