Kumar Mangalam Birla resigns from Tata Steel

MUMBAI: Tata Steel on Wednesday said Kumar Mangalam Birla has tendered his resignation as a director of the company. Mr. Birla had earlier resigned as a non-executive independent director from the board of Maruti Udyog Ltd. after a three-year tenure in July. Following the resignation, Maruti announced the appointment of D. S. Brar as non-executive independent director and Tsuneo Kobayashi as non-executive director.
