GUNTUR: Thirteen persons were injured when the tractor-trailer they were travelling in, overturned near Budampadu village on the city outskirts on Wednesday. According to the Guntur rural police, the tractor was carrying some 15 persons belonging to Inturu village of Amruthalur mandal in Guntur district. They had come to attend a function at Jonnalagadda village in Guntur rural mandal and were returning to Inturu. As the tractor reached Budampadu, the link between the tractor and the trailer came off and the trailer overturned. The injured were shifted to the Government General Hospital in Guntur. Police attributed the accident to the negligence of the driver.
